Many of Anu Bhullar’s clients come in carrying the weight of questions like, “Why can’t I get through this?” “What’s wrong with me?” or “Why does life seem easier for everyone else?” They describe feeling constantly on edge and snapping at the people they love. In addition, they also report drowning in waves of low mood, guilt, and shame. For some, these struggles are compounded by undiagnosed or misunderstood ADHD—challenges with focus, disorganization, emotional reactivity, and a sense of always falling behind despite best intentions. It’s a painful cycle that can feel isolating. If you’re looking for medication for mental health, Anu is an excellent choice.
As a provider with personal experience navigating anxiety, depression, and the power of therapy, Anu brings not only clinical expertise but also true empathy to her work. She understands how hard it can be to ask for help—especially when cultural stigma or fear of medications makes seeking support feel overwhelming. As a woman of South Asian descent, she is passionate about creating space for clients who are seeking medication for mental health. Many of these clients may have grown up with messages that mental health should be hidden. Alternatively, they may have learned that struggling means weakness.
Anu is a culturally sensitive provider who welcomes conversations about traditional values, supplements, and alternative healing strategies alongside evidence-based psychiatric care. She supports clients across the lifespan. Moreover, she is especially drawn to women’s mental health, with plans to pursue advanced training in this area. Whether working with someone brand new to therapy or someone who’s felt misunderstood in the past, Anu’s approach is grounded in compassion and collaboration. She also believes that everyone deserves comprehensive care that honors their whole self—mind, body, and culture.
Anup is licensed to provide medication management in Michigan.
